Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten programme is integrated into our Head Start programme.

Our Kindergarten programme provides experiences and opportunities for your child to extend their interests and ideas, whilst promoting exploration, early literacy, early numeracy, creativity and social skills. Our focus is to develop your child’s school readiness - their individual identities, their wellbeing, their identity with community, their communication skills and their learning skills. We will help create confident learners that will be more than ready to move onto school.

Our Kindergarten rooms are managed by our dedicated Kindergarten Teachers with Bachelor of Teaching and Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching qualifications. Our Kindergarten teachers have experience in teaching at a primary school level and understand fully the school requirements as well as meeting the government Kindergarten Curriculum.  Our teachers will meet with the preparatory teachers from the local schools throughout the year to ensure a smooth transition for those children going to school the following year.

The increased cost of employing teachers has been offset by government subsidies. This means that the Kindergarten programme is included within our current fee structure and that there are no additional fees.
